Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SlotNow ("SlotNow", "we") collects when you use SlotNow, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), phone, city, social handles, and profile photos or videos you add.
• Booking details: dates, locations, shoot notes, songs and files you upload, signed agreements (including the name typed and the IP address at signing), payments and ratings.
• Messages between Pros and Clients, including offers and video previews.
• Usage data: pages viewed, search activity and basic device/log information, used for security and listing analytics.
• Payment data is handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

• To run bookings, payments, messaging, reminders and delivery.
• To calculate resume scores and rank search results.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
• To send service emails and texts (confirmations, reminders, password resets). Promotional messages only with your consent, and you can opt out.

Who we share it with

• The other side of your booking: Pros see the details Clients submit for their booking, and Clients see the Pro's profile and messages.
• Service providers who process data for us: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Anthropic (AI assistant for Pros), our hosting provider, and OpenStreetMap (turning addresses into distances for travel fees).
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect users' safety and rights.

We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep account and booking records while your account is open and as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax and dispute reasons. You can ask us to delete your account; some records (like payment history) may be kept where the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to certain uses. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, private file access and rate limits on logins. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you suspect misuse of your account.

Children

SlotNow isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll post updates here and notify you of material changes.
